Watergames & More wishes everyone a happy festive season and a prosperous New Year!
With the close of 2023 rapidly approaching, we proudly reflect on several projects that were completed this year. Evoking the broadest smiles and aquatic fun lies at the heart of every project we at Watergames & More execute. Whether it involved riding one of our slides, standing beneath an interactive water playground’s huge tipping water bucket, exploring and sliding in a water play structure or scrambling on water play equipment, our splendid products succeeded in offering the young and old alike heaps of water fun.
The following is a selection of the exceptional projects we are proud to have completed in 2023. We already look forward to 2024, which we trust will offer us opportunities to put our passion into practice again!
Vinkenhof Campsite – interactive water playground
Summer at Vinkenhof campsite (the Netherlands) was extra refreshing this year, thanks to the addition of a brand new spray park. It was specially designed to excite and entertain children of all ages, as they have fun in the water and take control of their play environment.
Municipality of Capelle a/d IJssel – ‘De Watervallei’ public spray park
The Municipality of Capelle aan den IJssel (NL) took pride in reopening ‘De Watervallei’ public playground in 2023. The existing water playground, also known as a spray park, has been extended to include new water play equipment.
De Watermolen campsite – inflatables
Last summer, the site known as Camping De Watermolen (NL) caused quite a splash by providing adventurous aquatic fun using inflatables! The expansive lake adjacent to the campsite offered guests a course comprising various types of inflatable water play equipment in the water.
Spurd’s Leeghwaterbad – water play structure
Spurd’s Leeghwaterbad swimming pool (NL) is now brimming with fun, thanks to its new climbing and scrambling play structure! Watergames & More built a splendid water play structure there, which has proven a huge success among its (young) visitors!
De Wiltsangh swimming pool – 2 waterslides
In the first quarter of 2023, the new sports recreation centre in Nunspeet (NL) known as De Wiltsangh opened to the public. Watergames & More designed and built two waterslides, namely a tube slide and a family slide, for the chlorine-free swimming pool there, which is the first of its kind in Europe.
La Piscine Les Dauphins – 2 waterslides
La Piscine Les Dauphins swimming pool recently underwent a large-scale renovation. This involved Watergames & More’s construction of two new waterslides with alternative courses, namely a Challenger and a SpeedRider. Part of the pool’s existing steel structure was reused in erecting the new slides.
Kôpavogs swimming pool – 3 waterslides
Watergames & More successfully completed its first project in Iceland in 2023! The Kôpavogs swimming pool had its three outdated waterslides replaced in the process. Watergames & More relieved Kôpavogs of any burden by executing the entire project, from dismantling the old waterslides to the design and construction of the new ones.
Tropical Islands – Award-winning waterslide
Looking for a unique slide experience? If so, the new Double Racer slide at Tropical Islands (DE) is just the thing for you! This longest double racer in the world offers a sensational ride, which enables two people to slide down parallel tubes simultaneously. The slide also won prestigious awards in the categories Europe’s Best New Waterslides, Germany’s Best New Water Slides and Europe’s Best New Water Attractions.
De Koerbelt swimming pool – waterslide
The city of Rijssen (NL) took great pleasure in officially opening its fully renovated and sustainable swimming pool, known as de Koerbelt, in 2023. Watergames & More constructed a waterslide comprising numerous extras for the indoor pool, including multimedia and start & stop systems.
Beekse Bergen Safari Park – Wild River
Beekse Bergen Safari Park became the proud owner of a new waterslide in 2023! Watergames & More constructed the Wild River family water slide in the park’s Maji Springs aquatic centre. Young and old can now simultaneously ride this slide side by side.
