Despite COVID-19, Watergames & More fortunately succeeded in executing various new projects in 2020. We take this opportunity to highlight several exceptional projects.
H2O Herford Sports & Water Park
In the process of renovating and extending the park’s toddler pool, Watergames & More constructed a Spray Park at the H2O Herford Sports & Water Park in Germany. The fully customised Spray Park is based on the ‘Tabokiri’ jungle theme. Its design comprises various handmade elements from the Tabokiri story, including Koko the parrot, Freddy the monkey, and Splash. Moreover, it features a mangrove tree which was also hand crafted.
De Meermin swimming pool
During the summer, Watergames & More constructed no fewer than three new waterslides for De Meermin public swimming pool in Steenbergen, the Netherlands. Keen to appeal to all target groups, the pool management opted for three different waterslides. The first of these is a blue Challenger. The Challenger is a popular family waterslide appeals to both younger and older pool visitors. The second waterslide is a yellow and red SuperSlider. This SuperSlider comprises two lanes, which enable visitors to ride the waterslide simultaneously, challenging one another to reach the bottom first. We also constructed a red ThrillSeeker. This waterslide’s high speed makes the ride truly spectacular.
Familypark Austria
Commissioned by Compagnie des Alpes, Watergames & More constructed a custom-made Spray Park at the Familypark theme park in Austria. The integrated design is based entirely on a mining theme. The design comprises both existing and new decorative features. Furthermore, the colours of the water play equipment are also coordinated, so that they blend to create a coherent impression.
Aquarena swimming pool
As part of the construction of the new ‘Aquarena’ indoor swimming pool in Emmen, the Netherlands, Watergames & More erected several waterslides, a WaterClimbing wall and a Spray Park. One of the slides in question is a WaveRider. The WaveRider is the ideal waterslide for families, as it enables them to share the ride simultaneously. Watergames & More also constructed a Challenger with a Dazzler, aimed at those truly in search of adventure. This waterslide is highly spectacular, thanks to its large cone, interactive multimedia and time registration system. The climbing wall offers users the opportunity to climb up to six metres high. The climbing stones have different colours, which signify climbing routes with various levels of difficulty. The Spray Park partly overlaps the paddling pool. Its theme is based on the Grasslands Collection supplied by our partner, Waterplay Solutions Corp.; a natural collection with spraying flowers and leaves.
De Roggeberg RCN holiday park
Watergames & More created a unique water playground for de Roggeberg RCN holiday park in Appelscha, the Netherlands. The playground has borrowed two characteristic features of the province of Drenthe, namely its woodland and drifting sand dunes, to ensure that the Spray Park blends in with its surroundings. Hand-crafted benches in the shape of tree trunks, a water table and waterslide add the finishing touches to the water playground. The rocks and rocky waterfall lend the water playground an even more natural look.
