Two new waterslides added to swimming pool at Loodsmansduin Campsite

Loodsmansduin Campsite is situated in the Dunes of Texel National Park. Part of the De Krim Texel resort chain, this duneland campsite is hugely popular among guests. An outdoor swimming pool is located at the centre of the campsite. And Watergames & More is to supply and install both a new family slide and toddler slide for this heated outdoor pool in 2023!

Measuring some 10 metres long and starting at a height of 3.2 metres, the family slide, also known as a Waverider, will descend in a wave motion with an average gradient of around 32%. The Waverider’s three-metre width enables a group of friends or an entire family to ride it simultaneously. This family slide is one of the most popular waterslides. As the slide is both open and safe, it is also highly suitable for families with (small) children. It is therefore the ideal attraction for all generations.

Besides the family slide, the pool will have the added attraction of a toddler slide. It is suitable for the youngest visitors in the age bracket 0 to 4. Thanks to its readily accessible steps, the toddler slide can be easily climbed by small children. Furthermore, its stainless steel hand rail enables the kids to slide down safely.

Watergames & More is no stranger to the De Krim Texel chain. The swimming pool at De Krim Holiday Park on the island Texel underwent renovations in 2017. Watergames & More constructed several water slides and a spray park for this park, which is also part of the De Krim Texel chain. De Krim Holiday Park’s pool has been voted Swimming Pool of the Year no fewer than three times since 2017.
