In addition to all its existing attractions and sights, Särkänniemi Adventure Park (FI) now offers you the opportunity to discover water in a playful way. While their children play carefree with water, parents can revel in the fantastic view of Lake Näsijärvi. Watergames & More constructed a Spray Park at this idyllic site. This is a first for us, as it is our initial assignment in Scandinavia!
Innovation
Särkänniemi Adventure Park (FI) is one of Finland’s largest theme parks. Besides the amusement park, it comprises an aquarium, a children’s farm and a 168-metre observation tower. It welcomes some 1.1 million visitors annually.
The park continually seeks to innovate. This year, it opted to add an attraction with a unique water experience to its facilities. Its new Spray Park offers all Särkänniemi Adventure Park’s visitors the opportunity to discover, play and enjoy water and its water play equipment.
Inviting character
The Spray Park supplied matches the park’s look and feel. The bright colours and the playfulness of the water play equipment naturally attract visitors. Whether you have your swimwear with you or not. This interactive water playground simply entices you to come and play with its equipment. You decide just how wet you want to get. Pass your hand through a water jet, for instance, to experience its refreshing effect. Or increase the tension by walking beneath the arch, at the risk of getting absolutely soaking wet. Or maybe you’d prefer to aim a water fountain’s jet at one of your fellow visitors to the Spray Park. These are just a few of the options available.
Low water & power consumption
A spray park is an extremely low-maintenance facility. Its water & power consumption are both low. The water, which is issued by the sprays onto the smooth floor, is basically drained immediately after all. As a result, no extensive water treatment system is required. It is sustainable, too, as almost all the water is collected and reused.
