The existing outdated swimming pool in Druten (NL) is to make way for a sustainable sports centre known as De Gelenberg in 2024. Besides a sports hall, gym and gymnastics hall, the complex is to comprise a new swimming pool. In cooperation with the contractor, Van der Horst aannemers, Watergames & More is to supply and install a waterslide and a paddling pool equipped with various items of water play equipment.
Most fun waterslide for young and old
Watergames & More will supply and install a Challenger in the swimming pool. This tube slide starts at a height of almost 3 metres and measures some 25 metres long. The waterslide is highly suitable for all ages. Even the youngest children can ride it together with responsible adults. The slide is also to be equipped with a start-stop system and will terminate in a catch-unit.
Aquatic fun for the very youngest
The pool complex will feature a paddling pool, in which we are to install the following items of Waterplay® play equipment:
Fun-brella
The Fun-Brella features a unique laminar water effect that fascinates curious minds. Children simply love to move their fingers through its shield of water. However, they can also walk or crawl under it.
Water Weaver No. 2
Four nozzles also means four times as much fun! The tunnel’s nozzles have angled heads. This Spray Tunnel offers children a multitude of options! Is it a wall of water? Or perhaps a water tunnel?
Spray Tunnel No. 4
Spin the unit to create a water fortress comprising interwoven streams of water! Children crouch down to hide beneath these splendid streams. The fact that they can control the speed of the spinning water, enables children to continually experiment and invent new games.
Toddler slide
A toddler slide is also to be installed. This slide is fully manufactured using our in-house mould and according to our own design. It is highly suitable for the youngest visitors, aged 0 to 4 years. Thanks to its readily accessible steps, the toddler slide can be easily climbed by small children. Furthermore, its stainless steel hand rail enables the kids to slide down safely.
