As well as constructing a water playground comprising various customised items for the new holiday park known as Drentse Lagune Watergames & More is to install all of the associated water treatment, plumbing, electrical & mechanical systems. The water playground will be situated alongside the park’s indoor swimming pool. Project execution is to be carried out in cooperation with Kopare Development,the property developer responsible for the new holiday park.
Sea theme
The property developer had a very clear impression of the theme and level of play value required. Watergames & More therefore collaborated closely with it in incorporating these ideas in the design. The water playground is to be based on a sea theme, which reflects the lagoon in the park’s name. Elements including starfish, coral and marine creatures will feature prominently in the Spray Park. It will also comprise three custom-made boulders. Not only do these boulders offer children added play value, they also double as seating for adults. The finishing touch that ties everything together will come in the form of a stunning mural depicting a tropical beach.
Construction
Watergames & More is to relieve the property developer by taking charge of the installation of all technical and water treatment systems that the project entails. The Spray Park is scheduled for completion in the spring of 2022.
