A new waterslide is to be constructed in the Hallenfreibad (indoor swimming pool) in Burgdorf (DE), before the close of the year. The indoor pool there is about to be renovated. As part of the renovations, its existing waterslide will be replaced by a new model manufactured by Watergames & More!
Glass-fibre reinforced plastic (GRP)
The waterslide should be completed and commissioned by Christmas 2022 at the latest. It measures some 39 metres long and is made of glass-fibre reinforced plastic (GRP). This highly sturdy slide is to be installed in the same position as the existing model.
Increased attraction value
The waterslide is nevertheless entirely different to its forerunner. It offers far greater attraction value for example. A spiral staircase affords access to the slide. During the course of the ride, a time recorder will keep track of not only visitors’ individual times, but also the fastest time of the day and the slide’s all-time record. This should encourage visitors to improve their score each time, while continually competing with one another to achieve the highest score and fastest time.
