This year, Watergames & More is to construct two fully themed Spray Parks as an extension of the Eis Greissler ice cream factory in the Austrian town of Krumbach.
What was it we were going to build?
The client commissioned us to construct two water playgrounds. The first is the design for a 210 m² Spray Park based on an ice cream theme, which includes a Mega Soaker and a water play structure comprising a water slide. Covering a surface area of no less than 600m², the second Spray Park has a theme based on natural elements, including a stream that runs through rock formations, Waterplay Waterleaves, grasses, fish and two waterfalls.
Extended scope of work
Eis Greissler has further extended the scope of work on the two projects. This implies that we are now also to renovate the existing stream banks and finish them in colourful cold plastic resin. Furthermore, all sluice gates and play approaches are to be designed, produced and assembled by Watergames & More. As the choice of materials is tailored to the application, 316L stainless steel is to be utilised in view of its resistance to swimming pool water. In addition, we are to advise the client on matters including gradients and materials for renovation of the watercourse. We are also to fit shade sails above both water playgrounds.
Execution
Execution is currently in full swing at the site.
All the cast-in elements and plumbing for the two water playgrounds have already been laid.
We are proceeding according to schedule with the execution of this extensive project, which comprises over 1,000 m² of water play in all forms!
