Cities get warmer faster due to the heat island effect. We therefore continually remain on the lookout for solutions that might assist municipalities in offering their citizens and communities cooling. To complement our interactive water playgrounds, we now proudly present Abrio, the latest addition to the Coolhub™ collection!
Conceived by Vortex Aquatic Structures International, this innovative solution is designed to provide urban residents with a soothing and refreshing spot. Not only that, but Abrio can be managed sustainably and efficiently.
An oasis of calm
Designed with the user in mind, Abrio serves as a comfortable spot for residents to cool down on even the hottest of days. Thanks to its cooling mist and architectural shade spots, Abrio offers relief from the heat throughout the day. In the evenings, however, it transforms into a cosy meeting place that is illuminated by the soft glow of solar-powered LED lights.
Optimal use of water
Abrio is equipped with advanced technologies that optimise water use, including PlayStart™ activation and a MicroFlow™ controller. PlayStart™ activation ensures that water supply is activated solely on demand, while the MicroFlow™ controller provides a fully integrated water management system. Furthermore, both water consumption and quality can be closely monitored using a mobile app.
Ease of installation
Available in various dimensions and colours, Abrio can be readily installed without any major modifications to existing infrastructure. This renders it particularly attractive to cities that are keen to offer their residents swift and effective cooling.
